• John Fielding is a Toronto businessman and the founder of Array Marketing, a global retail merchandising service with a number of high-profile clients including Estee Lauder, Chanel, Sephora, Ulta and many more. For over 35 years Array Marketing has been delivering innovation in retail merchandising, creative branding, in-store build outs, point of purchase displays, open service systems and retail fixtures.

     

    Toronto's John Fielding also serves as a principal of the Amsterdam Brewing Company, a craft brewery headquartered in Leaside, which recently added two new facilities, the Amsterdam Brew House located on Toronto's waterfront and the Amsterdam Barrel House in Leaside. He maintains an investment interest in other notable ventures such as Novacore Communities and Zest Communities, residential real estate holdings.
     

    John was also an early investor and Chairman of the Board of Ethoca Solutions Inc., an e commerce and fraud solutions provider that was founded in 2005. The firm was acquired by Mastercard International in 2019.
     

    Alongside his business interests, John is active in the equine world both as an owner and breeder of thoroughbred and standardbred horses. His horses have won notable events such as the Hambletonian, the Meadowlands Pace and Metro Pace. By the end of 2018, John's horses had captured 17 Breeders Crown titles and are considered a part of the annual showcase of Standardbred racing. John has been the recipient of the United States Trotting Association owner of the year award on two occasions. He also sits as a long-time director on the Woodbine Entertainment Group Board of Directors.
     

    Originally a professional hockey player early in his career, John played in Europe for four years before returning to Canada in 1981. He credits his professional success to the people who surround him and lives by the age-old philosophy to treat others as you would expect to be treated.
     

    John Fielding remains a shareholder of Array Marketing and serves as a Director on their board. He lives in Toronto with his wife Pat with whom they have six adult children.
